AIAS/CSI Green Products Fair and Lecture

Ocean had the privilege to attend the AIAS West Quad Conference for an evening of products, professionals, and a guest lecture by Miles Kemp is the founder and president of Variate Labs.  Professionals and student leaders had the opportunity to gather for one night for this event, in the heart of San Diego, to explore how current urban spaces, sustainable designs, and  multi-nodal concepts can contribute to innovative and  enhanced networked cities.  The event was sponsored by the San Diego chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute. They hosted a “Green” Products Fair to showcase local representatives of products that are more sustainable for the construction industry. The Fair included a range of products for the home from paint to tile to drivable grass.  All these products and technologies on display are used by Ocean & SBC in the homes they construct and design in an attempt to make them more sustainable and have a smaller building footprint on the environment.
